Flagship Store of a Long-established Traditional Craft of "Nara Zarashi”
This high-grade hemp fabric, being said "The best hemp fabric is found in the southern capital.” It is directly managed by the long-established Okai Mafu Shoten. It sells sundries that express the historical Nara-Zarashi in a modern style under the brand "Mafu a Mano".
The owner is the sixth generation. The fifth generation master performs weaving demonstrations on the Yamato-Bata, which are shown irregularly on weekends. People are amazed at his skillful weaving techniques.
